As Instagram has grown to become a household name, so too has it's applications and reach. More and more the visual content found on Instagram has become completely unique to the platform itself. There's an "Instagram aesthetic" indicative of both the content and platform itself maturing beyond the amateur foodie pics & selfies finding wide-ranging and commercial applicability.
